Ron Aitkens

Certified Financial Planner

Ron Aitkens, President of the Harvest Group of Companies, was raised in southern Alberta and currently lives in Lethbridge. He has long held a passion for helping others succeed. That, along with his entrepreneurial prowess, launched him into the financial world 15 years ago.

His beginnings as a Certified Financial Planner led him primarily to farmers' homes, where he quickly realized there was more he wanted to and could do to service their retirement needs. He began looking for alternatives to traditional investment forums and for ways to provide clients with increased retirement income. This venture ultimately led Ron to his current focus - using the power of syndication for individual investment success.

Having grown up in a grass roots, hands on farming community, Ron knows full well that a 'hard work' ethic and creative solutions to life's challenges are key to building long term success. Establishing credibility and a reputation built on integrity, his dream to help others realize their own has become a reality for him.

Communications strategist and speaker, Roy Beyer is presently the Sr. Marketing Director with Foundation Capital Corporation, a part of the Harvest Group of Companies. Born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Roy has traveled extensively in his work across Canada with a passion to see people succeed beyond the ordinary. With a varied background as a communications strategist, he has always advocated for the 'ordinary person' and has encouraged people towards a success they can be proud of. As co-host of Your Money Radio.ca, Roy has a vision to bring to the listeners powerful and easy to apply strategies that can make a big difference in their lives. "I've learned a great deal through both failures and successes - my biggest lesson is to take heed to the advice of people who have actually succeeded. Those are the kinds of people we will be bringing to our listening audience".

Greg Bohnert

Radio Host

Originally from Ontario, Greg moved West in the 80's to take over a CKO affiliate station in Calgary. "Since then I've considered the West my home turf, and Calgary my home town away from home, and it's great to be back." After CKO - the All News Network, wound down, Greg went to work in news "up on the hill" with CFCN and AM106.

As an award winning broadcast journalist, former News Director and Talk Host for nearly a decade at CKRM in Regina, Greg also served as Prairie Regional News Director on the board of RTNDA Canada, and most recently a News Director and Talk Show Host in Victoria before joining AM770CHQR in the summer of 2006.

You've heard Greg as guest host on the Morning News, Rutherford, Calgary Today and the World Tonight. He is the producer and host of the "The Calgary Files" - CHQR's documentary series.

Throughout Shandra's career path, two things clearly come to mind: her optimistic outlook on life in general, and her passion to see the potential of others realized.

Her desire to see people exceed in their own strengths becomes evident with her experience in the field of communication, and she is very aware of the unique contributions each person makes. Past experience includes having been a TV producer/host, developing material and presenting at motivational workshops, teaching a teen self-improvement program and developing communication tools that target audiences in a form they can relate to and identify with.
